It’s time again to share news of what’s been happening here at the Tara Bodong Foundation – both here in the Netherlands and, of course, in Lumla!
SUMMER BREAK
Our girls at the Lumla Bodong Nunnery / Home for Girls enjoyed a well-deserved break from their studies during the long school vacation. During summertime, the girls remain at the nunnery. Those with stable homes, usually visit their families for the Tibetan New Year, which occurs in February or March. During the school vacation, they spend their time playing, studying the Tibetan language Bhoti, gardening, and making handicraft items.
